Members now make a variety of films using digital camcorders and computer editing equipment,  the final film being prepared on dvd.  Some members have moved to high definition equipment and the Club has recently updated projection equipment so that these films can be shown to their best advantage.

The film evenings are very popular with members, but the Club also run a series of workshops when demonstrations are given on various camera and editing techniques. Please see the Events Page for details of the current programme.

The Club also make drama type films and we are keen to recruit new members who may be interested in this activity. Members themselves have acted in some films and enjoyed the experience and you are welcome to join us. Drama films also require additional skills in developing a suitable storyline, scripting, designing and producing props, and direction.

However, most members make holiday and documentary films. Others have filmed events in support of various local charities.
