Bolton mayor, councillor Barbara Ronson and her consort councillor Bob Ronson were this year’s guests of honour at Bolton Moviemakers Annual Dinner. Normally, the mayor is pictured in front of camera, but on this occasion she clearly enjoyed the opportunity to get behind one and learn about its controls.

Before enjoying the award winning films of 2007, she presented trophies and certificates to those members who had made the films.

The Dinner was held at Ridgmont House in Horwich and was an outstanding success for the Club’s Social Secretary Doreen Thwaites assisted (or was it hampered) by husband Derek.
