Awards

Bolton mayor, Cllr Anthony Connell and his wife Mrs Maureen Connell attended the Club’s Annual Dinner to present prizes to the winners of competitions in 2008.

 

The dinner was again held at Ridgmont House in Horwich and was another outstanding success for the Club’s Social Secretary Doreen Thwaites, aided by husband Derek.

 

The winning films of 2008 were shown after the dinner and later  the mayor and mayoress stayed to talk to members of the Club about their filming activities.
